By accessing, browsing, registering, enrolling, or using the Services (with or without payment), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy available on our Website. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. About Us
Prayas Academy is an educational coaching institute providing academic and competitive exam preparation support (including but not limited to JEE, NEET, CET, Boards, etc.).

2. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a contract under Indian law to use the Services.
If you are under 18 years, your parent/legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms and supervise your use of the Services.
We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access if information provided is false, incomplete, or misleading.
3. Account Registration and Security
To access certain features, you may need to create an account.
You agree that:
- The information you provide is accurate and up to date.
- You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You will immediately notify us if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
- We are not responsible for losses caused by your failure to secure your account.
4. Services and Educational Disclaimer
Our Services are designed to support learning and supplement classroom education.
We do not guarantee admission to any institution, rank, result, marks, selection, scholarship, or success in any examination.
Outcomes depend on multiple factors including student effort, attendance, performance, exam conditions, and other external variables.
5. Payments, Fees, and Refunds
If any paid Services are offered:

- Payments may be processed through trusted third-party payment gateways. We do not store full card or UPI credentials.
Refunds/Cancellations (General Rule):
- Refund, cancellation, batch change, or course transfer (if permitted) will be governed by a separate Refund/Cancellation Policy
- Fees for classes already delivered/consumed may be non-refundable, unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
6. Intellectual Property (Content Ownership)
All content on the Website/App, including:
- study material, PDFs, notes, videos, recordings, tests, question banks, solutions
- Logos, branding, graphics, text, layout, and software
is owned by Prayas Academy or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not, without written permission:
- Copy, reproduce, record, download in bulk, distribute, sell, publish, share, or create derivative works.
- Resell access to courses, lectures, tests, or materials
- Remove watermarks or copyright notices
- Use our content for commercial use or for another institute/class
- Limited personal use for enrolled students is allowed.
7. Acceptable Use (User Conduct)
You agree not to:
- Misuse the Services or use them for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, overload, or bypass security
- Introduce viruses, malware, or harmful code
- Scrape content using bots, spiders, or automated tools
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent identity
- Post, upload, share, or transmit content that is abusive, hateful, defamatory, obscene, illegal, or infringes others’ rights
- share login credentials or allow others to access your account
- Violation may lead to suspension/termination and legal action.
8. User Content (If You Upload/Submit Anything)
If you submit content (e.g., homework images, questions, feedback, comments):
- You confirm you have the right to submit it.
- You grant Prayas Academy a limited right to use it for providing Services (e.g., doubt solving, feedback, academic support, internal records).
- We may remove content if it violates these Terms or applicable law.
9. Communications (Calls, SMS, Email, WhatsApp, Notifications)
By using our Services or submitting your contact details, you consent to receive communications from Prayas Academy, such as:
- admission/enquiry follow-ups
- class schedules, notices, test updates
- fee reminders, operational messages
- app notifications and important alerts
- promotional messages (where permitted)
You can opt out of promotional communications by emailing support@prayaslearning.com. Transactional/important service communications may still be sent.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
Our Services may contain links or integrations with third-party platforms (e.g., YouTube, Google tools, payment gateways).
We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of such services is at your own risk.
11. Availability and Changes to Services
We may, at our discretion:
- modify, update, suspend, discontinue, or change any part of the Services
- change course structure, timing, faculty allocation, features, or content
- update prices or offerings (changes generally apply prospectively)
We are not liable for any inconvenience caused due to maintenance, downtime, or technical issues beyond reasonable control.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
- We do not make warranties about uninterrupted access, accuracy, or suitability for a particular purpose.
- Prayas Academy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be limited under applicable law.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Prayas Academy, its staff, partners, and service providers from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from:
- Your misuse of the Services
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your infringement of third-party rights
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access (with or without notice) if:
- You violate these Terms
- You misuse the platform
- Your conduct harms other users, staff, or our operations
- Required by law or security reasons
Upon termination, your right to access the Services stops immediately. Certain clauses (IP, liability, indemnity, governing law) survive termination.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Courts having jurisdiction over Sangli, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes, subject to applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Services means you accept the updated Terms.
